Ladies LSN Night – Understanding your child’s non verbal communication

Imagine how much easier life would be if you could talk to your baby and understand his or her emotions, needs and wants. In the book The Blossom Method™, body language expert Vivien Sabel allows you to do just that – through learning your baby’s non-verbal communications. With this ground-breaking technique, you will be able to meet your baby’s needs before he or she cries.

Date: Wednesday 10th April 2019
Time: 7.30pm – 11.00pm
Location: 1 Coronation Grove, Harrogate HG2 8BY

By reading The Blossom Method™ you could discover how to:

-Understand your baby’s body language and ‘tongue talking’ signals
-Recognise when your baby is hungry, irritable or ill
-Help your infant feel understood and supported
-Feel less frustration and gain more parenting confidence

On the night the author of The Blossom Method™  Vivien Sabel, will introduce you to The Blossom Method and will be screening her short film to provide you with parental perspectives and will gladly answer any questions you may have at the end of the session. She will also bring along some of her books to sell which she is happy to sign for you at the end. There will be a bar serving drinks at exceptionally reasonable prices so please do stay to socialise and a raffle (£1 per ticket) to support ‘Our Angels’, a local charity that supports families following baby loss.

After recently meeting the fabulous and inspirational Vivien through myLifePool (she is a LifePooler herself) and understanding the story behind her method I bought and read The Blossom Method™  myself.  This message I sent to Vivien before I had even finished the book speaks volumes, it is testament to why it would be valuable to attend this event and read the book whatever age you children, if you have relatives having children, if you work with children and especially if you are pregnant!

‘Vivien, I started reading your book this morning and I’m on page 56… I am totally spellbound and a little bit sad and that I didn’t benefit from having read it before my children arrived. I can see how I noticed the non-verbal communication and mirrored it back but I don’t think I ever understood it to act on it outside of understanding the emotions that I read on their faces. I knew that I was connecting with my children by mirroring but I didn’t understand it meant so much more.   I am excited to read on and so looking forward to planning the event with you, empowering other parents by raising awareness of your book. Although I’m saddened that I didn’t understand all of this when my children were little I can already see the importance of it for when I become a grandparent. What a gift you have and have shared’

About The Author

Vivien moved from London to Harrogate 14 years ago where she set up her counselling and psychotherapy services and following the birth of her own daughter (Blossom), decided to write about her findings in relation to the language of babies. She created a model (The Blossom Method) and has published her findings in a parenting book and in academic papers. She was raised by a deaf mum and hearing father which saw her develop a different perspective on language and communication. She has also written a children’s book called Robot Meg She Lives in my Head promoting conversations about emotional well being with children. For more information see
