Material Face Mask – White Pattern

We recommend buying at least 2 masks per person, one to wear and one to wash.

All our masks are made by Oatlands Community Group Volunteers and are made to raise funds to help Oatlands Community continue with its support work through this difficult time.

All we ask is for a donation, of which 100% will go direct to Oatlands Community Group. Mask can be collected from 29 Beech Road Harrogate, HG2 8DZ or posted for a small postage cost.

Our masks have an internal wire along the top edge to adjust the fit over your nose and an internal pouch to fit a filter should you wish.

The Government has now advised us to consider wearing face coverings in enclosed public spaces such as shops and compulsory on public transport such as trains and buses as of 15th July ‘20 to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Masks and face-coverings are thought to help protect others, however, they may not stop you catching the virus. For that, the best you can do is to be vigilant and sensible. Try to remember: wash your hands before putting it on or taking it off, make sure you have a snug fit and avoid touching your face while wearing it.

Social distancing and good hand hygiene remain the best ways to protect yourself and others against coronavirus.

However, the government has advised that face coverings may be useful as an additional measure for the general public where social distancing is more difficult to achieve.
